Thats why we've created a Quick Start General Care Guide to address the most common care techniques for Rick Owens pieces below.
INTRODUCTION
Always consult the washing instructions listed on the garment product tag.

WARNING:
- Do *NOT* wash or submerge Leather in water.
- Do *NOT* wash Cashmere or Wool in hot water. (Cold Water ONLY)
- Do *NOT* Dry Clean any garment unless listed on garment tag.
- Avoid machine washing unless listed on garment tag.
- Use caution if a garment contains mixed materials or fabrics.

GENERAL FABRICS
General Hand-Wash Care Guide:
(For Basic Woven Fabrics)
1. Fill container with warm water.
2. Place a small amount of gentle detergent in a container and mix until suds begin to form.
3. Place garment in container and gently agitate for 2-5 minutes.
4. Let garment sit in container for 5-10 minutes,
5. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water until all the detergent is gone.
6. Lay fat on a towel until garment is dry.
Note: Some dye loss may occur during the washing process.
WOOL
Wool Hand-Wash Care Guide:
1. Fill container with Cold Water *ONLY*.
2. Place a small amount of *baby shampoo* in container and mix until suds begin to form.
3. Place garment in container and gently agitate for 2-5 minutes.
4. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water until all the baby shampoo is gone and the garment does not appear to retain any baby shampoo.
5. Remove as much excess water as possible. DO NOT WRING OUT OR TWIST/STRETCH. Lay fat on a towel until garment is dry.
Do NOT Hang Dry.
LEATHER
WARNING:
- Do *NOT* wash or submerge Leather in water.

SOILED OR DIRTY LEATHER EXTERIOR:
- Do NOT use any detergent or harsh chemicals.
- Do NOT use a abrasive pad or cloth
1. Using a soft sponge or cloth, spot clean leather with warm water and castile soap. (Leather is Skin. If you would not use the soap on your body, it is not appropriate for leather.)
2. If Leather appears dull, you may apply leather conditioner. Using a soft sponge or cloth, lightly apply conditioner in a circular motion. After the leather conditioner dries, lightly buff conditioned locations with a soft cloth.

JACKET LINING:
- Do NOT attempt to remove jacket lining.
To refresh the interior of your leather jacket, we recommend any chemical-free, gentle Garment Protector/Pre-Treat. Please follow the directions for your chosen protector.
FOOTWEAR
- Never machine wash or Dry your footwear.
- Do *NOT* wash or submerge Leather in water.
LEATHER FOOTWEAR:
1. Using a horse hair shoe brush, lightly brush the exterior of your shoes to remove any dirt.
2. Wet a soft sponge or cloth and apply a leather cleaner (Lexol 1 Leather Cleaner Recommended), to the cloth. Gently message cleaner onto shoes until a light lather begins to form and dirt begins to lift from the surface of the shoe.
3. Rinse sponge or cloth until the water runs clear and use the damp cloth to remove all excess soap or lather from shoes.
4. Leave shoes to dry.
5. Using a soft sponge or cloth, gently message a light layer of leather conditioner (Lexol 2 Leather Conditioner Recommended) into shoes.
6. Leave shoes to dry overnight.
7. Gently brush shoes with horse hair bush one last time.
